Enable Max CPU Clock on Windows OS for SPR units

Modified on Wed, 21 May at 2:41 PM

To enable the CPU to run at max clock whilst in an "idle" state, a BIOS setting will need to be changed.

The setting that needs to be changed is the Hardware P-State from [Native Mode] to [Disabled]
This setting can be found in the Advanced page then in CPU Configuration.

This will not require the BIOS password

Once the setting has been applied you can press "F10" and "Yes".

When you load into the Windows OS you can run Task manager and go onto the performance tab, you will then see the CPU running at the max clock whilst in an idle state.
