Unit Preparation

Make sure drives are showing in BIOS, either via onboard sata ports or raid cards. Units that are to be configured in legacy with a raid device interface will be available to check on boot:

Software testing

Plug in USB HDD Scan Live USB. then boot, Once into windows, open Drive Scan


Right click Smart scan run with power shell, enter the machine serial number, press enter. Once complete a .txt will appear on the desktop. Open this to see + check logs

Drop .txt onto Partition HDDScan Report ( F:\ )

upload to “ C:\Users\Youruser\Exacta Technologies Ltd\Production - Test and Config\Customer Configuration\Wavestore\HDD Smart log Reports “

Create a folder of the MO, inside that folder - serial number, drop reports inside that. This also will match the HDD+Raid screenshots
